Nikki Loveland, PTA
Nikki received her Bachelors of Applied Arts at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant in 1992. After a rewarding career in parks and recreation, Nikki took time to stay home with her children. She then returned to school where she received her Associate of Applied Science in 2010 at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township. It was during the physical therapist assistant program that she learned to use muscle energy techniques and thoracic sequence, which are currently used here at our clinic. She has also completed the continuing education course Treatment of Common Extremity Dysfunction through Mobilization, taught by Great Lakes Seminars. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2008.
She is also certified in LSVT – BIG which is a research based exercise approach to treat Parkinson’s patients. There are only 6,000 therapists trained worldwide.
Nikki enjoys working at Neil King Physical Therapy because of the individual attention each patient receives throughout each treatment session. She also feels privileged to work in an environment with a physical therapy team of experts.
