Kathy Schmidt, PTA

Kathy has a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts from Michigan State University.  Following a teaching career in volume one of her life, Kathy received an Associate Degree from Macomb Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is also certified in LSVT – BIG which is a research based exercise approach to treat Parkinson’s patients.  There are only 6,000 therapists trained worldwide. Kathy has worked at Neil King’s since 2007 and as a PTA since 2009. 

Kathy enjoys working at Neil King Physical Therapy because the multi therapy approach enables the therapists to best address the patient’s needs and put them on the path to health and wellness.  Kathy looks forward to expanding her knowledge in therapies employed at the clinic.
