Denise Bickett, MA, AT, ATC

Denise graduated from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training.  She received her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University in 1992.

Denise has worked in College and High School settings where she was responsible for the management and care of the student athletes, with the prevention, evaluation and treatment of medical conditions.  Prior to starting at Neil King Physical Therapy Denise worked as a clinical Athletic Trainer in a PT clinic in St. Clair Shores.  She then moved to northern Oakland County and worked at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital where she was a clinical Athletic Trainer and manager of 3 offsite PT clinics.

Since starting with Neil King Physical Therapy in 2002 Denise has furthered her training with Craniosacral Therapy I & II, Somato Emotional Release I and Lymphatic Drainage I & II coursework, all from the Upledger Institute.

Denise enjoys working at Neil King Physical Therapy because of the team approach to the treatment of acute and chronic pain.  Each clinician has an area of specialty that significantly enhances the progress each patient achieves.
