Chris graduated in 2004 from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and athletic training.  In 2010 Chris added another degree as a physical therapist assistant from Macomb Community College.  Chris currently holds MI licenses as both an athletic trainer, and a physical therapist assistant.

Chris has been a member of the Neil King Physical Therapy staff since February 2006.  Prior to joining NKPT, Chris was the head athletic trainer at Clarkston High School where he collaborated with physicians to optimize activity and participation of the student athletes. While at Clarkston, Chris also encompassed the prevention, diagnosis and intervention of emergency care, as well as acute and chronic medical conditions.

Balance and StrengthChris has several years of experience and continuing education working with a variety of chronic, acute and post-surgical orthopedic conditions.  He uses various treatment techniques to help patients minimize pain and reach their long-term goals.  These techniques include: therapeutic exercise, Stott Pilates, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and counter strain techniques.

Chris enjoys the one on one, team treatment approach at Neil King Physical Therapy.  He believes this is the most productive way to meet the needs of each of the patients and improve their recovery time in a safe and well-rounded manner.
